Quatre stared out the second story window and watch the figure get further and further away from the mansion.  He didn't know how it happened or why it did, but something made the distance figure suddenly leave in a great hurry.  Quatre thought it might have been something he said to him, but found nothing in their conversions a little while back that would have made Trowa suddenly want to go back to L3.  With a heavy sigh, Quatre continued to stare has Trowa grew harder to see.  He was so deep into his own thoughts that he didn't hear someone come up to him from behind.  This new stranger didn't keep his presences unknown for long.

"Quatre-sama, do you want us to go after him?"  Quatre was pulled from his thoughts has Rashid voice came to him out of nowhere.  With another heavy sigh, Quatre answered without turning to him.

"No.  If Trowa truly wants to come back, he will do it on his own."

"Why did he leave so suddenly?"

"I wish I knew.  One minute we were talking about the future, the next he was saying that he had to go back to L3.  He never said why."

"The future?  Why were you talking about that?"  Rashid asked questionably.

"I wanted to find out if Trowa had any type of feelings for me, and if he saw us together in the future.  I may have scared him off by asking that."  Quatre finally faced his companion with concern in his bright eyes.  "I wanted to know if there was any chance of staying together with him.   I have strong feelings for him, and I wanted to know if he had the same.  But I think I drove him off. I feel really bad now."

Rashid put a comforting hand on the young man's shoulder and smiled to him.  Quatre smiled a bit.

"Thank you Rashid for the sympathey."

"You can always come to me for a shoulder to cry on, Quatre-sama.  I'm alway here.  Would you like me to make you some tea to sooth your thoughts?"

"Yes, that would be great.  Thank you again Rashid!"  The older man turned and left his young master to his thoughts.   Quatre once again turned back to the window, only to find that the distance figure he watch leave his mansion was no longer visible.  With another sigh, Quatre went back into his thoughts. He was remembering the first time he saw the beauty of his life.   He would never forget how his stomach did somersaults as he stared at Trowa for the first time.  As his memories began to play in his head, and without a warning, Quatre softly began to sing a song that Iria had taught him when he was a little boy.

Ayer conoci un cielo sin sol
y un hombre sin suelo
un santo en prisión
y una canción triste sin dueño

Yesterday I knew a sky without sun
and a man without ground
a priest in prison
and a sad song without an owner

Ya he ya he ya la he
y conoci tus ojos negros
ya he ya he ya la he
y ahora si que no
puedo vivir sin ellos yo

Ya he ya he ya la he
and I knew your black eyes
ya he ya he ya la he
and now yes that
I can't live without them

Le pido al cielo sólo un deseo
que en tus ojos yo pueda vivir
he recorrido ya el mundo entero
y una cosa te vengo a decir
viaje de Bahren hasta Beirut
fui desde el norte hasta polo sur
y no encontré ojos asi
como los que tienes tú

I asked to the heavens only one wish
that in your eyes I can live
I've traveled the entire world
and a thing I'm coming to say to you
I traveled from Bahrein until Beirut
I went from the north until the south pole
and I didn't find eyes like those
like the ones you have

Quatre suddenly realizes that he is singing the song taught to him in his youth. His only notion was to grow louder as he continued singing.

§ rabboussamai fikarrajaii
fi ainaiha aralhayati
ati ilaika min haza lkaaouni
arjouka labbi labbi nidai §

God of the sky, the granter
in his eyes I see my life
I come to you from this world
please God grant my request

viaje de Bahren hasta Beirut
fui desde el norta hasta polo sur
y no encontré ojos asi
como los que tienes tú

I traveled from Bahrein until Beirut
I went from the north until the south pole
and I didn't find eyes like those
like the ones you have

Ayer vi pasar una mujer
debajo de su camello
un rio de sal un barco
abandonado en el desierto

Yesterday I saw a passing woman
underneath her camel
a salt river, boat
abandoned in the desert

Ya he ya he ya la he
y vi pasar tus ojos negros
ya he ya he ya la he
y ahora si que no
puedo vivir sin ellos yo

Ya he ya he ya la he

Still sucked into the deep emotion of the song, Quatre, without thinking, grabs his violin and starts to play a seductive solo before finishing off the song.

When the last word had been sung, and the last note faded, Quatre set down his violin and fought back the tears.  The song had the power to really amplify the emotions of the person singing the song. In Quatre's case, his broken heart almost seemed to rip right out of his chest.  He really did love Trowa, he knew that now, but it was far too late to tell him how he felt.  Quatre just sunk right back into the cushions of the windowsill and buried his head in his hands.  He swore to himself that he would never love another again.

Suddenly, Quatre lifted his head in awareness.   Something had called out to Quatre, but he couldn't tell what it was.  He stared in the direction it had come from and to his amazement, it had come from outside.   Adjusting his eyes to the outside light, he could see far in the distant a figure coming closer.  The figure was running.  Running towards the mansion.   Running towards him.  The door to the room suddenly bust open and Rashid hurried over to his young master.

"Quatre-sama, Trowa-sama is heading back to the mansion.  And he looks like he is in a hurry." Quatre took one more glance outside to confirm what his companion had just told him.  Satisfied that it was Trowa running back, Quatre leapt from the sill, out the room, down the stairs and out the door.

"Quatre…" Trowa called from a distance.

"Trowa!!"

Quatre ran as fast as his little legs could take him.   When he finally reached Trowa, he leapt right into Trowa's outstretched arms.   They embraced each other for an eternity, before Trowa finally spoke.

"Oh God Quatre, I am so sorry I walked out on you.  I don't know what came over me.  I should have never left.  But I'm glad something drew me back here.  Several words seemed to play over and over again in my head.  They beckoned me back.  Back to you.  Oh, Quatre…"   Trowa stared deep into Quatre's eyes.  "…I love you."

Quatre's eyes filled with tears.  "I love you too, Trowa."

"I want us to be together, forever.  That's what I want my future to be.  A future without you, Quatre, is a future not worth living."

"Oh, Trowa…"  They embraced each other tighter.  Quatre rested his head on Trowa's shoulder.  After a long silents, Quatre lightly asked,  "Trowa, what were the words that played over in your head?"

Trowa released Quatre and looked straight into his emerald eyes.  Then spoke softly,  "Ojos Asi. Eyes like yours."   Then, just like magic, they kissed.  Passionately.  In the back of his mind, Quatre whispered,  "I thank you, Allah!!"
